in response to the question about him having had some braces in the past … I don’t know the answer but he has such great lips and often it happens to people that had braces … it pushes the lips forward a bit … not that I would mind at all … and would have loved to say that I knew this for a fact because we got our braces locked up but sadly no … thankx ;-))

hmmm. I really don’t think he has had them… I don’t really have a reasonable explanation but they really don’t look as perfect as they would he would have had them. But they are perfect enough to make you think taht he has had them… I think he needs to get on here and clear all this up. What do ya say David?!? ha, anyways.. I find it humorous how we get all worked up over this question..

This is from Issue 3 and it cracked me up so much that I had to leave a comment. “Cookonium” is the most hilarious thing I’ve read recently. I couldn’t stop laughing. I still can’t stop laughing. David Cook is a genius scientist, and you guys are genius, period. LOVE the newsletter and thanks for adding me to your mailing list.

I just read the latest newsletter… and it was great as usge. However- I am super familiar with the song “Innocent” - (I’m Canadian after all) and I have to say that David kind of, sort of did butcher it. BUT (there’s a but) his performance tonight (”You will always be my baby) brought me to tears. (Thank goodness no one was home!).

You are wrong about Innocent but thanks for the comment =). We also loved tonight’s performance too. Now back to Innocent…David rocked…trust us. We’ve been listening to the studio version (from iTunes) for the past week and it’s become our anthem. We love this song because it has DC written all over it. We meant it when we said Innocent is the kind of song you might hear at a DC concert. So to clear this up….DAVID COOK ROCKED INNOCENT AND WE LOVED IT! Now if anyone says differently we will dedicate the entire next newsletter to our feelings about Innocent…test us…we dare you.
Now we’re not just picking on you because you can’t vote for DC on the show or even because your country has a reasonable healthcare system. As a matter of fact, we’re not picking on you at all. We just really wanted to make the point that WE ALL LOVED INNOCENT! Well, except for the Creative Director but I think it’s pretty clear by now that guy can’t be trusted. Oh and thanks for the nice comments on the newsletter. =)

I too loved innocent and all the other performances he did and I say that from a totally objective point of view (NOT!! cause I LOVE DAVID no matter what and in my eyes he can’t do anything wrong)
anyways … I love the band OLP and I’m sure they did love his performance as well … even when he’s a little off he’s a mile in front of the other performers … and the point really was to sing a song that mattered to him as the Admin said … and he did … so who cares wath Simon says or anyone else for that matter … he did great on “innoncent” and I downloaded the studio version as well and it gives me chills everytime …
so this Canadian girl here is sticking to DC no matter what … till death do us part loll

Well you’d better start writing. I’m looking forward to reading what an all “DC rocks Innocent” newsletter looks like as I’m curious as to what you can POSSIBLY say about how well he sang this song- when he just didn’t!! (Have you guys even heard the original “Innocent” by OLP?)
After your response post- I actually bought the studio version at your recommendation- hoping it to be better than the live version.
Sadly, It. Was. Not.
In fact I almost feel as though the good folks of the DC Fan Team owe me $1 ($1.01CDN) for misleading me!! : )
However lest you think I’m not still a die hard fan, I did buy the MC cover and I’ve already listened to it about 80 kabillion times in the last day.
I must go now and watch DC on youtube… er I mean, get back to work.

I couldn’t read some of the more recent newsletters cause my computer conspired against me. But, in the end, I overcame my computer and just read them. I gotta say that I LOVED the lil DC/LOST thing. Ahhhh….if only David were on the island, I’m sure he could have taken out the smoke monster with a look of his eyes, and sing Ben Linus a lullaby so that when he drifts off to sleep he could collect all the castaways and get them on the submarine before Locke blew it up. If David Cook were on the island, the show would have ended by episode 3!
Am I missing something? Where’s Issue 8?!

Ok, I have only read three newsletters but I can’t stop laughing. This creative director is pretty darn funny. I think that DC needs to hire him or something.
These newsletters are way better than the AI forums by far. Not to mention that in this website you can actually write almost anything without running the risk of getting gagged, or worst yet going to banned camp where they seize your underwear. Yikes!
I’m definitely coming back for more.
Why? Because I like it that’s why.
