I am a 41 year old wife and mother of one 19 year old and it was great that my son, his fiance, my husband and myself all were rooting for the same guy. He seems like David is such a nice, smart, well balanced, gentle, tender hearted and amazingly talented man. You brought that out with your interview. Great job! Hope you get to interview him again.
David Cook is awesome. I was a fan of his when the top 24 were left, I didn’t have one before him. David Cook was destined to win… and as Neji would say… Destiny is sealed.
I had more respect for David before he started messing with a D List Reality blond ditz….with a DUI conviction two years ago, who should remain nameless. Take Archeuleta’s advice, and put the music first….and hold off on the relationship stuff. Your fans should be #1 right now…..without us, you wouldn’t be sitting in that chair.
I must agree with COOKFAN who recently stated that music should be the focus ,not dating. David continue to do what you do best .Just stick to your fans …and if you think your big now ….just wait and see.Don t give Hollywood any ammo for they will shoot you down quicker then we built you up. Yes, there are days that I feel sorry for myself, have a good cry, then I realize that there are others worse off than me. Well I’m TRYIN’ but I don’t know if I can keep up! I really would like ALL the paper media and to see ALL of David on TV etc but it’s TOUGH, man! LOL! You all are aware that nobody has had more than 6 songs in the Top 100 at one time - until David kicked 11 out there all at once! That’s since Nielsen has been involved in the stats since 1991. And the only artist to beat 11 at once was…The Beatles, when they had 14 on the Top 100 list! There are all kinds of lists now, what with digital and hard copy and categories of all sorts…I THINK this is just the Billboard Top 100 songs. Let’s continue to support him & his music! He’s a human being, folks, he’s gonna have a LIFE! And I, for one, hope it is the life he’s always wanted. I love love love love him and his music, and I am grateful he wants to share so much of himself. Love you, David.

Who can blame him? I don’t!! Whoever said he was acting like he’s married?? How? As far as I’ve seen, he said she was cool, they hung out, and they might hang out again. Be a little more generous, and a little less jealous, please. People, realize that bashing who David Cook chooses to spend his time with is tantamount to bashing him…and true fans don’t bash…they support their favorite artists and leave that crap to the critics/tabloids. So please don’t come onto his fan site acting like you own him or that you’re qualified to give him relationship advice.
As for appreciation of his fans…have we even been watching the same show? I can go on for hours about all the little gestures he’s done for us…and the BIG things, like working his a$$ off to give us moving music to enjoy. WTF MORE DO YOU WANT FROM HIM? The only thing he “owes” us is good music…and nowhere in that pact is there a clause requiring celibacy or self-denial.
If you want him to be open to the fans…be kind to him in return.
