Though our thumbs have officially fallen off from voting so much last night (Did you vote?) here are we are, bright and early, dilligently bringing you the best David Cook content on the web! The DC Fan Team does want to take this opportunity to bring up one small thing, however. In last week’s newsletter, we gave you, our loyal readers, the chance to challenge the Fan Team to a street fight. No takers. What’s up with that?!?!? Our Creative Director was totally ready to rumble… oh well. For today’s Rock Report, we bring you an amusing post of our friend “Superhush’s” blog:
I know the folks over at David Cook the American Idol are going to love this. Yesterday on Larry King idol judge Simon Cowell was quoted:
“It will be David versus David. That’s what I predict,” said Cowell during an appearance on Monday’s Larry King Live broadcast. “That will be a good final.”
Well nuts, I just looked over at David Cook the American Idol and sure enough, they’re already on the ball with this one. Checkout their coverage, here (I should’ve known better than to try and out David Cook that site).

I’m a new poster here, but have been reading the site for a few weeks. I just wanted to say that I *did* vote for David 100 times last night. My time zone (Arizona) doesn’t seem to have problems with the phone lines jamming up, so I was able to get through every time without a problem. Did it in about 20-25 minutes.
Great site! Just found you! I’m a big DC fan, loved last night’s performance and the crying thing at the end. I’m a sucker for a sensitive guy! Anyway, thanks for directing me to the Analog Heart download. He’s more talented than I thought. Great, great lyrics. I wonder what that girl who is the subject of the songs must be thinking now….
